Re-cap of May Networking Event
About 80 women turned up at the Museum of Islamic Art Café on Monday, 28 May, for our monthly networking event. Our hearts were filled with sadness for the children, teachers and firefighters who died in the Villaggio tragedy earlier that day, and they remain in our thoughts and prayers. We were gathered in the exceptional café at the Museum of Islamic Art, which delighted us with scrumptious canapés, fresh fruit juices and beautiful views, to say "good-bye" to Christina Zini, leader and founder of QPWN who is embarking on her new journey as a mother and entrepreneur, and two other team members, Lena Lenarcic and Senami Apithy, who are departing Qatar for other shores. It was a very inspiring evening as we celebrated 2 years of networking events and the growth of QPWN, while saying goodbye to 3 veteran team members. Two years later, the desire to be an open community for all women in Qatar remains as strong as ever. QPWN exists because of our empowering founder and our dedicated team, but also because of all the women who attend our events: that's what's being a community is all about. Thanks to all of you! Thanks to Estelle Roure for organising this month’s wonderful event!
